School Chess Club Coaching – Chess Variants (2012-06-19)

Chess Kids presents a lesson for school kids about chess “variants”. A variant is a game that uses the chess pieces and board, but is a totally different game! These are used for achieving specific learning outcomes and putting the mindset of the student back in “beginner” mode.

Today’s lesson covers “Take-me Chess”, “Double Move Chess” and “Snowball Chess”
