I want to use the word "fork" for that though
Ha ha …. I am here to play as "Black". And I got the answer what would be my Plan against "White"😜. Thanks 👍
damn, I'm 2 years late. Which Magnus/Nakamura games is he talking about?
Well rapid champion nodirbek plays the english
7:43 – I've recently played over 100 games with the carousel carton bowl of pawns and its been devastating my opponents.
lol @ "I don't know why I said carousel"
👍
me praying Levi has a vid on this opening so I don’t fall asleep

I did this opening by accident, im normally a knight fan but when i wanted to try something new i became a bishop enjoyer with this one.
This video is a carousel of knowledge and has helped me repeatedly.
Your lessons are awesome! Thank you!
I literally just played againts this Chess opening
and I took like 10 seconds to decide on what piece to play, because I was so unfamiliar with it
Ima try and use 3 openings polish caro kan and then english
Just tried this one and it was going so fucking good and then my dumbass misclicked and dropped my queen before where she was supposed to go and she got hung, it was brutal. fuck my fingers
Thank u…🙂
I have to say i am truly impressed, i restarted playing chess tday i this was one of my go to openings when i was a kid, i played probably 10 games before watching this guide and i was very inconsistent on what i was doing, right after this i had the best game i played in probably years
Watching this levy in 2023 be like: 💀
3:32 Gotham didn't regard Bxc3 after e3. It is the best move and it's -0.2. Why? White's pawn structure is horrible and black have a fair share of the center and can easily finish their development and castle. (Black doesn't play Bb4 for no reason)
A carton of pawns? I'm dying hahahaha
double fettucine
Thanks to Levy I managed to achieve 1000 ELO.
This only works if your opponent isn’t a tiktok gremlin. The last time i checked they literally go a5 and release the rook
When you are a 600 rating you watch this and forget the 5th move and its game over😂
I started using the bowl technique thingy about 2 weeks ago, i didnt even know it was an opening, I've been comfortably beating 900-1100 elo players, good to see this in more depth, fingers crossed I get better at it, thanks for the tips 👍
Thi video thought me nothing.
this goes to fast for me to follow
PRO TIP:
Watch in 1.25x if you want it to sound like the 2023 Levy
So if I'm getting this, the English is really good if you like playing black but you're the white pieces.
The English Opening is fun and sets up a game built on strategy, setups and planning-rather than cheap traps and in your face tactics.

Q: what happens if one plays the caro kahn defense as a black? TIA
such a legend, tysm fam
It is very good opening. I won.a blitz with it with zero inaccuracy, zero blunders, and zero mistakes.
I play a player regularly as only white but the problem is it has become difficult since he started playing chech+pirc defence can someone suggest me a good opening and that too that doesn't start with e4….. hope i am clear for what i am asking …..😀
Him having short hair is my first time seeing him like this
Thanks for this opening First round in, and I crushed my opponent. 4 moves into the game I was +1 point with a better position, 11 moves into the game I was +4, 25 moves I was +8, and at move 75 I ladder mated them +14.
I know this is a pretty old video but I recently just tried out the English just out curiosity and my own sort of problem solving and its my favorite opening right now
Because a lot of players are unfamiliar with this opening I've had alot of success, even though I probably don't play it that well 😅
what is the point of the english
Not 10 minutes 9 minutes 58 seconds
Nice Ape In The Background
I've never downvoted your videos and yet when I opened this video to take another look it was downvoted. Dodgy stuff happening.
